How the DOIT Centre handles the personal data you provide through the form, event registrations or when arranging the use of equipment.
Who processes your data
The data controller is the University of Primorska, Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica, Obala 11a, 6320 Portorož, Slovenia. The DOIT Centre operates as a unit of the faculty.

What data, and what for
Through the message form we collect your name, organisation, email address and the content of your enquiry. We use this data solely to reply to your message and to arrange the use of equipment or spaces, or a collaboration.
For event registrations we process the data needed to run the event and keep a record of participants.
How long we keep data
Enquiry data is kept until the matter is concluded and for no more than two years, unless another regulation prescribes a longer period. Event data is kept for the purpose of reporting on the centre's activity.
We do not pass data to third parties for marketing purposes and do not use it for profiling.
Your rights
You may at any time request access to your data, its correction, erasure or a restriction of processing, and object to processing. Address your request to the centre's email or to the data protection officer at the University of Primorska.
If you believe your rights have been infringed, you may lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner of the Republic of Slovenia.
Cookies and statistics
The website uses only the cookies needed for it to function and contains no advertising trackers. If we add visit measurement in future, consent will be requested beforehand.
