The Turistica Academy connects the knowledge, research and experience of the UP Faculty of Tourism Studies – Turistica with the real needs of tourism businesses and destinations. It offers short, practice-oriented training to develop professional and entrepreneurial competences in tourism, programmes tailored to the client, and micro-credentials of the University of Primorska.
Our training is intended for companies, tourism organisations, development agencies and other organisations that wish to build the knowledge of their employees, members or other target groups.

Short, practice-oriented training for employees, managers, entrepreneurs and people starting out in tourism, delivered on request for closed groups.
Tailored programmes
Choose a single course or a combination of several, or let us design a programme around your needs. Before the training we can carry out a needs assessment or interviews; afterwards we can track its effects and prepare recommendations.
Micro-credentials
More demanding, structured programmes that Turistica delivers within the University of Primorska and that lead to a micro-credential. Enrolment follows the University’s procedures.

Micro-credentials
Micro-credentials are accredited programmes of the University of Primorska. They differ from the Academy’s short courses in scope and in that the knowledge gained is certified by the University with a micro-credential. Details, entry requirements and enrolment are on the University’s website.
